Booking terms, cancellation policy and guest obligations
A reservation is confirmed upon receipt of a 30% deposit. The remaining balance is due 14 days before arrival. For bookings made within 14 days of arrival, full payment is required at time of booking.
Individual bookings: Free cancellation up to 48 hours before check-in. Cancellations within 48 hours: 1 night charged. No-show: full booking amount charged.
Groups (5+ rooms): Free cancellation up to 7 days before check-in. Within 7 days: 50% charged. Within 48 hours or no-show: 100% charged.
Safari packages: Free cancellation up to 21 days before departure. Within 7 days: 100% non-refundable.
Check-in: from 2:00pm. Check-out: by 11:00am. Early/late arrangements subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Guests are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and in accordance with Tanzanian law. Mateves reserves the right to request departure of any guest whose behaviour disrupts the enjoyment of others.
Mateves Boutique Lodge is not liable for loss or damage to personal property. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for all guests. Safari and trekking activities are undertaken at the guest's own risk.
